Road Intelligence (“we”, “us”) operates the website fuehrerscheintest.app — a free study tool for the German Führerschein Class B theory exam. Contact: contact us
2. Data We Collect
- Account data: email address and hashed password, collected when you create an account.
- Study data: which questions you answered, whether you answered correctly, your readiness score, streak count, and study session timestamps.
- Settings: preferred language (English/German), exam date, daily goal.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device type collected automatically by our hosting provider (Vercel).
3. Legal Basis (GDPR)
We process your data based on: (a) your consent when you create an account (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and (b) performance of our service contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
4. Data Processors
- Appwrite Inc. — backend infrastructure (authentication, database). Data stored in EU-region servers.
- Vercel Inc. — web hosting and CDN. May process IP addresses in connection with serving the website.
- Google Ireland Ltd. — Google AdSense (advertising). Google may set cookies and collect data about your visits. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
5. Cookies
- Session cookie (
a_session_*): set by Appwrite to keep you logged in. Expires when you log out or after 365 days. - Advertising cookies: set by Google AdSense to show relevant ads. You can opt out via Google Ad Settings.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing contact us. We will delete your account and all associated study data within 30 days.
7. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
- Data portability
- Object to processing
- Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority
